A career spent advocating for patients became a career advocating for the people who care for them.
Our founder wanted to be a doctor as a child and was always passionate about medicine. Life took things in a different direction, so he found another way in: as a young volunteer EMT treating patients in the prehospital setting, and later as a paramedic, work he still volunteers in to this day.
His healthcare career began shortly after 9/11 as a patient navigator, guiding patients through a complex system and seeing firsthand how broken that system can be. He started engaging with doctors on behalf of their patients, and later supporting those doctors on behalf of the hospital.
That work led to his recruitment as Director of Physician Relations at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he spent ten years working closely with the chief medical officer to recruit and align physicians, with growing involvement in outpatient ancillary operations. He went on to become Assistant Vice President of the Physician Enterprise at Maimonides Medical Center, where he engaged physicians daily and built referral relationships that expanded patient access to specialty care. He later served as Vice President of the Physician Enterprise at One Brooklyn Health, overseeing the system's outpatient practices.
He founded Nationwide Healthcare Resources in 2017 to bring that experience to healthcare organizations as a consultant. In 2025 he launched HealthPro Talent to bring it to clinicians themselves.
We partner with a small number of organizations at a time: health systems, ambulatory practice groups, and physician practices that want a strategic talent advisor with operational experience.
When we take on a new organization, we come to you. We visit the site, and we learn from you about your culture, your challenges, and what the perfect candidate looks like to you. We often sit down with the department head or chair to understand the unique needs of the specific role being recruited. This is how we keep our promise to candidates, and it's why our placements last.
